YEE-Hah

Finally A little time to blog... our family has been so busy the last couple of weeks.. it seems like everytime I wanted to sit down and blog.... I had to run out the door for something.... I officially declare my job as a "taxi-mom" LOL... anyways this past weekend My daughter's girl scout troop had a father/daughter dance western style..and us moms got to help out and enjoy the fun....they had picture taking areas, square dancers, games, and lots of food.... it was so fun to decorate the place and see the dads and daughters walk-in and be so surprised..... Then on Saturday morning we decided to pack the kids up and go the park where they were having a big spring festival.... so we lasted about an hour ... in the heat.. the kids were grouchy and hungry and the lines were long to get a cold drink... after that the kids went home and I went to work one of the last girl scout cookie booths of the year.... our troop alone sold over 8,500 boxes of cookies.... i'm so glad its over..... anyways her are some pics of the funfilled event... =)

What a beautiful day......

Yesterday was such a beautiful day, That I decided to take Josiah outside to let him run around a little.... He Just loves to go outside, and whenever he sees someone walk outside with out him his lil feelings are just so hurt and he cries hysterically .... So when i asked him if he wanted to go outside he got all excited and went grabbed his shoes.... when he gets outside he loves to run. He definitely gets me tired.... here is a video of him in action...

So this past week has been quite the crazy week... it is girl scout cookie season and not only is kala selling cookies at the booths but we have been going door to door...and she is also in a musical for our stake. On Thursday she was at rehearsal and I got a call that she had fallen and I need to get down there right away... I picked her up about 745pm, well between urgent care and the emergency room we got home about 3am Friday morning....it turns out she has fractured her Tibia bone and will have to see an Orthopedic surgeon on Monday. If all goes well hopefully she will just have to keep this removable cast on her leg Til it heals....soon very SOON... I feel really bad for her and want to take care of her, but it has honestly stressed me out just a little...... it has been like taking care of another baby... i have to dress her, shower her and get her meals to her... and she wants her brace fixed 24/7 and every 5 seconds she is yelling from her room "mom" !! lets just say she is so taking advantage of the situation LOL... I couldn't help but be reminded about when I fractured my ankle in high school and my mom had to do the exact same thing for me.... anyways her is a pic of my lil turtle... i call her that because it takes her forever to get anywhere.....

weekend full of emotions.....

This past weekend we took a trip down south first on Friday we went down to a funeral for somebody in my husbands family it was so sad to listen to the children speak about there dad and see the slide show of his life. After That we went and crashed at my dad's house and got up the next morning and went out to breakfast.. boy was that fun... going out to eat with Josiah these days is quite a struggle. .but I managed to get out of there with no food on me. It was good to see my dad 2 weeks in a row even if it was a quick visit... So then we got on the road for our next stop... I have been telling the kids for weeks now that we have a surprise for them.. and this was the weekend for the surprise.. the whole drive from orange county to the L.A. area they kept asking where are we going..?? I didn't tell them anything...So we get to the hotel.. and there she was my mom or as the kids call her "mammy" I haven't seen her in over a year... and I was soooo happy to see her and the kids were very excited too... and very surprised. My mom lives in Utah and was down for the weekend for my cousins baby shower... she got us a room at her hotel in Calabasas and we stayed out there for the rest of the weekend... we had a really good time hanging out with mammy, swimming, walking around the town, and seeing lots of family... we even thought we might run into a celebrity since a lot live there.. well kam and the boys saw Morris Chesnut from the Game Plan at subway. my cousin even unexpectedly decided to have here baby the day of her shower.. so we got to go to the hospital to see the baby... all in all we had a great weekend....

o.k. this pic has a funny story behind it, we went to visit my cousin and new baby at the hospital and we parked really far I had Josiah with me and he was a sleep so Kala pushed me and josiah in a wheel chair all the way up to the door but she kept losing control of the wheelchair and we were all laughing so hysterically... and then it was kala's turn on the way back to the car hey Josiah is 32 lbs can you blame us =)

Nurses maid what????

I'm writing this blog to inform those who don't know and also to share with my friends and family.... So last night started out to be a wonderful evening with a lot going on. Kam took Jayden and Tyler to Tyler's band concert at school which he had a solo by the way...congrats on that!!! and Josiah and I went to do some girl scout stuff for Kala's girl scout troop and then head to church for enrichment night the theme was how to become the 8 cow woman you are from the johnny lingo movie... it was great food, great company and a great program... well Josiah didn't do so well in the nursery so I had him with me... once it was over he was trying to run around everywhere and wanted to touch everything so all of a sudden I'm holding his hand and he pulls away from me to escape out the door and I hear a POP sound .. I thought maybe it was just his wrist adjusting or something... well then he started crying and babying his arm... after talking to a few people I thought it would just be sore and go away... well it didn't he cried off and on through the night... so first thing this morning I take him to the Dr. and with in 1 minute if getting into the room she pops his elbow into place and he is back to normal eating a lollipop with the same arm... as if nothing ever happened... it turns out he got nurses maid elbow and apparently it is very common. Well he is running around being the happy little boy he normally is... he definitely had us scared though....

Total cliffhanger ...grrrrrr.....

O.K. so how many of you watch the Biggest Loser.... well I am a definite faithful fan... and I'm so upset right now because they just ended the show with a huge cliffhanger.. I was already sitting at the edge of my seat awaiting the outcome to see if they lost 77 lbs to keep all safe this week... so it's up to the last person to weigh in .... and apparently I wasn't keeping track of time and thought it was just going to commercial.. and then all of a sudden I see TO BE CONTINUED... I was like what... no way... now I have to wait 1 WHOLE week to see what happens.... my family has been of course going for the 2 Mormon teams on the show and mainly for the Tongan team..GO FILIPE AND SIONE!!! anyways I just had to come on here and vent a little.... whew I feel better now.... =) nite nite...

Kakala's birthday bash.....

SO this past week was Kala's birthday and she insisted that she was the boss for the whole week... In our family we only have big birthday parties for their 1st,5th, and 10th and so on...since there are so many of us that just seems like the logical thing to do.. So this was it the big 10.. so she wanted to live it up to the fullest...LOL.. so finally to end her birthday week with a bang.. we had her a birthday party at rollerama. We all had alot of fun and it was a pretty stress free birthday party... and I didnt even have to clean up... she got to invite some friends and my dad even came up from orange county, it so good to see him and kala thought it was so cool that her grandpa was out there skating like everyone else...Here are some pics of the event... the first 2 pics Josiah got into some hershey kisses while Kala and I were trying to put her goodie bags together.. the looks on his face is so funny when he got caught look on the bottom of the pic..all those wrappers are from him...LOL... ya he wasn't feeling so well that night...LOL
