Who outsmarted who???

So Josiah has started crawling all over this week, and has been following me where ever I go... well the one place I don't want him following me to is the kitchen... so I tried to out smart him and put a barrier on the pathway in between the 2 couches that leads to the kithen... well this little monkey figured out real quick how to get thru the barrier...... so I guess my lil 8 month old out smarted me..... LOL....

Another short funny story..... so Josiah gets a lot of attention in public people love his chubbiness .. so last night Tyler decided to go to the store with josiah and I for once... so we are at foodmaxx and all the workers are coming up to him and squeezing his legs and basically goo-gaga-ing over him ... Tyler is just sitting there like wow.... so we finally get away from everyone and get out of the store and Tyler looks at Josiah and says with a smile on his face " you make me sick"...LOL...Ty was a tad bit jealous over his baby brother ..it was cute....

8 months old today.......

Where has time gone..... my lil man is 8 months old already.... it seems like yesterday that he came into this world.... well he has been trying to crawl ..although he doesn't have the get up on his knees and crawl type of thing going on.. he is getting the concept of gett'n to where he wants to go by scooting/hopping... I posted a video down below.... He has also been trying to pull up on things to stand... so he is moving along quite well... I'm not sure how much he weighs i'm thinking about 26-28 lbs... his appt is next week so I will post then... he has started eating alot more and not just baby food.. he loves crackers and has been eating them pretty good... He is such a lil cheezer... if he gets any attention at all he smiles by scrunching his nose and kinda laughing through his nose and will keep looking at you to get your attention... we have been taking him swimming alot .. and he just loves the pool ..as soon as he sees the pool he starts to get all excited... we have noticed that he has a little temper and will squeeze his fist and make a growling sound if he wants something..I've noticed lately he is been acting a lil out of character I'm not sure if it is because he misses his brother and sister who are in utah for a month, or if he's teething,or its the new haircut or maybe he is just growing up and changing.. but I first noticed it in church this past Sunday.. he was such a handful.. by the end of the 3 hours I was worn out...LOL.. at home he just has been a lil monkey lately he is so used to the kids fighting over him, holding him and playing with him know that it is just ty,dad and I ..I'm thinking he is a lil under stimulated..lol we will see how is goes......well recently he got a new lil car (thanks Amy) and he just loves it to pieces... his daddy takes him around the block and he just looks around thinking he is just a big boy.... we have discovered that he loves nature... he loves looking at trees and touching grass and looking for the birds... anyways here is a few pictures of him at 8 months old......

It's Just hair........

Josiah got his first hair cut today..... My husband and I have been going back and forth about cutting it for the past week.. and I was totally against it.. until yesterday when somebody said he had a girl hair do... so I finally agreed to it... and of course my idea and my husband's idea of a hair cut is totally different.... so I didn't know he was going bald till I saw all his hair on the bathroom counter..... I was sad at first but thought to myself "its just hair"... and it will grow back.. so anyways here are some pictures to capture the moment.... as you can tell by the smile on Josiah's face he doesn't care or he just doesn't have a clue....LOL.....

Our weekend in San Francisco.......

This past weekend we went to San Fran.... we had a alot of fun family time... we got there Thursday and went swimming all day.... It was Josiah's first time in the pool and at first he didn't really like it.... but after awhile he was splashing around..... then on Friday we went swimming some more.... and then went to the fathers day dance at my in-laws ward.... they are always having family dances and we love going.... my husband and I danced the night away... and the kids just ran around.... it was lots of fun.... On Saturday we woke up and went to water world its a big water park.... the kids went with daddy and went on all the rides.. while Kam's sisters,Josiah and I just went in the lazy river, the wave pool and kiddie pool.... until Josiah decided to take a 3 hr nap.... so I decided to lay out and get some color.... after Kam went on the rides it was my turn I went on 3 rides with the kids..... I think as I get older.. I get more fearful.... because i was just a little scared... but I did it and I had a blast.... On Sunday we went to church and then went back to the house for some good ol' tongan food.... then it was time to pack up and head back to Bakersfield.... we had such a great time with our family..... Thanks Ofa and Dea for a great weekend......

First my Father Richard.... thanks so much for always being there for my family and always making sure that you come and visit us in Bakersfield, Thanks for always playing with my kids even if you were to tired or didn't think you could keep up with them.... LOL, and most of all thanks for always complimenting me and praising me it means a lot coming from your parent...especially when I wasn't always the best daughter in the world,thanks for all the advice you give and just calling to talk about whatever,thanks for having trust in me and talking to me about your daily life and most of all thanks for being my Dad.....Happy Father's day Dad we love you...hope you have a great day!!!
Next there is my step-dad Jim...AKA Harry... since the day you met my mom you have been an amazing.Thanks for always making sure my family has the best and that were taking care of.... thanks for all the wonderful things you do for us and for the wonderful husband you are to my mom and for taking care of her..... we love you very much...Happy Fathers day...Dad hope you have a good one.....
Last and definitely not least is my Husband Kamaloni.... Aka Daddy..... where do I start.... Thanks for being a wonderful father and husband..... thanks for all the love and nurture that you offer to our kids... thanks for all the lessons you teach them... thanks for teaching our boys to grow up and be men and thanks for teaching our daughter to except nothing but the best..... thanks for getting up and going to work hard everyday to provide for our family and never complaining about it...thanks for excepting all my short comings... thanks for playing with our kids even though your tired after a long hot busy day.... thanks for all the encouragement you give our kids every single day, thanks for taking our family to the temple to be sealed for all time and eternity...and most importantly thanks for being the best dad ever..... We love you so very much and are thankful to our heavenly father everyday that we have you...... Happy Father's day... hope you have the best day ever!!!!

Whats new these past couple of weeks.......

Well I haven't blogged in a couple of weeks... We have been so busy with the kids... There last day of school was last Thursday, and it seems like they always have alot of activities at the end of the school year. On memorial weekend we went to Knott's berry farm with Kala's girl scout troop. She camped out across from the park where she did crafts and earned patches, the rest of us stayed at the knotts hotel and went to good ol' famous fuddruckers after eating we went back to the hotel where the kids went swimming in the rain. The next day we got up and went to Knott's. Josiah got to go on his first ride, he was a little scared when it went in a tunnel other than that he was so good all day not one fuss from him he had a blast. The other kids got to ride all the rides even the new one that just opened that day.... We all had so much fun. On Memorial day we went to the park with some friends and had a barbecue it was a beautiful day here in Bakersfield and we enjoyed just relaxing before our next busy week.On Tuesday Tyler volunteered at the homeless shelter and served them dinner it was quite an experience for him and were proud of him for doing it. The rest of the week the kids were busy with there last week of school.. everyday they had something fun going on, and then Friday to start off the summer vacation we joined some friends at the park for a play day and had lunch.This past weekend we went to great-grandmas house for a little get together, it was really nice to see my family especially after losing our aunt Becki recently.So now the kids our home for the summer except for Tyler he is trying to get into summer school as we speak so he doesn't get that much time off. As far as an update on Josiah since I last wrote he had recently learned to waive bye-bye and say Da-Da... not sure if he is trying to say daddy or not..... he loves watching play house disney and dora the explorer every where we go he is always grabbing the attention of others,everyone wants to squeeze his legs and pinch his cheeks and let me tell you he just loves the attention...he hasn't quite started to crawl yet but gets to where he wants to go by rolling over....well now that summer vacation has started im sure I will have lots of fun to write about....until then.....take care.......
