sleep..sleep..sleep...

Well As I mentioned before Josiah can fall asleep any where ... he must get that from his daddy, yesterday Jayden walks in the living room with Josiah, and this is what we saw...LOL

Last week was quite the busy week.... here are some pics of our funfilled week...no time to post a long blog... as I usually do.... so anyways hope you have a good week, hopefully I will write more later.... :0)

Busy...Busy.....Busy!!!!

This past week was quite the busy week.. I think thats an under statement...LOL... Monday my friends Debbie and Marisa and I put our crafting skills to work and made some teddy bears.. and if I do say so myself they turned out pretty cute...then on Wednesday I had to take Ty down to U.S.C. for some extensive dental work(dont ask!!!) then on Thursday I helped a friend pack her house up... on Friday I had court and went to the water spray park with some friends and the kids...on Saturday we went to dinner at our good friends the smiths new house.. there house is so beautiful ..and it was so good to see them and the food was great!!... Id have to say the highlight of the evening was when we played scene it... espn sports... for those of you who don't know my son Tyler is an absolute wiz when it comes to sports he knows stuff from way back when.. so we had 2 teams and Ty was on my team and brother smith was on another team and it was basically between those 2 we were just there for back up.. it was funny well team Tyler won... woo hoo!!! ok that was last week ..now for this week.. boy do I have my hands full..Ty goes off to camp tomorrow morning at 8am and then i will have all week a house full of girls... my step daughter Isabel is visiting,.. then theres kala, and i babysit a little girl for the summer, and then I'm watching another little girl til Thursday.... so thats a total of 4 girls between the age of 8 and 10.. this is going to be fun...LOL anyways thats all for now..... til then I leave you with a quote and a little thought in my heart I got from church today ... I'm so thankful for sisterhood and all the blessings that I receive from my sisters.. thanks so much to Debbie and Marissa for watching my children this past week...also it was so good to have my friend Janiece and especially Shannon back in relief society today... I was so thankful that my good friend Shannon was able to make it today and i've missed here so much...thanks to all my sisters.. you all touch my life in so many different ways..

Brushal smouts

I just had to post another blog tonight... so earlier this evening the kids wanted a snack so i gave them gold fishies and jayden asked for milk.. for those of you who know jayden absolutely loves milk no matter what meal or if he is just getting a quick drink its always milk well i thought he had enough milk for today so i gave him water... so Jayden starts talking to me and he says "mom I love milk with everything" and he starts to list all these things like animal crackers,goldfish,burritos.. etc then he says " well except brushal smouts mom.. i don't like brushal smouts with milk because i dont like brushal smouts at all..." LOL it took me a second to realize he was trying to say Brussel sprouts....LOL....kids say the funniest things... i tried so hard to keep a straight face... but i wanted to laugh because I thought it was cute..... silly kid :0)

kids are back = lots of activites......

Kala and Jayden got back from Utah on wednesday, we went and picked them up from the airport.. and it was a smooth event... I was so happy to see them it had been a whole month and they looked so different... and had grew a bunch... as soon as we got in the car on the freeway.. I was quickly reminded of the noise level that had been missing from our home.... LOL... they were so excited to show us everything they got on all there adventures that they started pulling out everything in the car.. it was quite a crazy drive back to Bakersfield.... then we got right back into the swing of activities the very next day.... kala and jayden had a field trip to grandpas farm it was a lot of fun to see the animals and to let josiah see them too.. we watched pot belly pigs races, heard a turkey sing, rode on a hay/tractor ride and had lunch in the barn .. all in all very fun day.... then on Saturday Kala had a girl scout field trip to river walk park/and Walgreen's.. they first got there very own camera and took pictures all around the park.. then went to Walgreen's to see how film is developed and printed... we are at Walgreen's for 3 hrs... by the end of the 3 hours I was so sick of seeing the inside of a Walgreen's..LOL..we got home and I was exhausted but still needed to go to the grocery store... I decided to bring the family back some candy bars for a treat... so I walk into the kitchen and there is kala ... with her own cold stone cremery set up...shes got a cutting board,knife spoons, and she is mixing the cut up candy bar with the ice cream... she says she is gonna be a chef... will see..LOL.. anyways thats my story for the week .. next week should be fun too well busy busy busy at least... til then here is a quote i saw.... " when there's a song in your heart... sing along...." i love that quote because i am always singing out loud when im alone...LOL....

Well I haven't posted any updates lately ..just pictures... so I thought I'd blog a lil bit .... starting with the 4th of july... we went to our good friends the Tillett's house for some swimming and a barbecue we had thee best tri-tip....then as the sun went down we went over to some neighbor's of theirs for a spectacular fireworks show it was fun as well as emotional with the music and slide show they had going as they did fireworks... at one point is got kinda out of hand when a remote control car carrying fireworks lost control and headed our way... it was quite scary....all in all we had a great 4th and Josiah loved it he wasn't scared of the fireworks one bit... Also last week Josiah had his 8 month check-up he is 28 lbs. and 30 in. long he is in the 97%.. so we have a pretty big boy on our hands which isn't any different then our other kids...Speaking of our other kids they are coming home on Wednesday..we are so excited.. they have been gone for about 1 month and I miss them like crazy.. but they have been having a good time in Utah.. Kala got to perform at the stadium of fire, and they went to Lagoon,museums, and did some school shopping, but it is time for them to come home ..... Well it has been over 100 degrees here in Bakersfield.. and we are all trying to stay cool...here are some updated pictures of Josiah... we are always having fun with him...

Since Josiah is crawling around everywhere, Tyler decided to make him a playpen so he couldn't escape....as you can see he loved it..... for a lil while anyway.... LOL
